
Salma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jimmyenez, 2 September 1966)[3][4][5]), is an American and Mexican actress. In Mexico, she began her acting career playing the role as Teresa in the television series (1989-1991) and also as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) where she was nominated for an Ariel Award. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were but some of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's role as Frida Kahlo painter in Frida (2002) The film, which is a biographical film she produced which earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. She also received her Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Hayek was a part of the action-oriented Once Upon a Time in Mexico film in the next years and focused more on making films.
