KatePrince William and Kate Middleton began to meet for the first time during the year 2001 while they were still students of St. Andrews. The story goes that Prince William attended an event where Kate Middleton wore a transparent dressthat sparked his curiosity. By 2003, they had began to get together. Middleton, Prince William and two other St. Andrews students were living with them in their second year of St. Andrews. Around this point in time, Kate Middleton began to receive harassment from various media sources. The harassment prompted several individuals to threaten legal action, including members of the royal family as well as Kate's lawyer. Due to unknown reasons, Kate and William split in 2007. The couple was said to have split up, but rumors circulated that they came back together shortly afterwards.
