The family was raised in Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and was a clarinet player, piano, and cello at the highly regarded Hochstein School of Music. Sharp's passion for theatre at the age of 14 brought her to Boston Conservatory, where she was given an award. Cum Laude, where she earned the B.F.A. Sharp chose to pursue a career in theatre after graduating Cum Laude with the B.F.A. She performed in her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp's theatrical performances include Abyssinia and Aida. Sharp is also working on other projects which she's working on as well as her projects for screen and stage. In addition to singing, Sharp is making an album. Sharp enjoys exercise. She is active by boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long roadtrips. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
