The family was raised from Rochester, New York, Sharp was a music enthusiast and studied clarinet the piano, cello, and clarinet at the world-class Hochstein School of Music. Sharp's love for theatre at school led her to apply to The Boston Conservatory, where she was awarded an award. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp following her graduation. Sharp focused her energy on the stage. She was part of her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other stage productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp read alongside writer August Wilson himself. Alongside her performances on the screen and stage, Sharp has several other creative projects that she's co-written or written. She sings as often as she can, and has a full-length album that is in development. If she's not in the front cameras, or working in a studio to record the music of her choice, Sharp has a love for fitness and stays in the gym and studies Krav Maga.. She is also a piano player, hiking and long journeys. Sharp lives with her spouse and two children in Los Angeles.
